How do I link a customer to a userprofile?

If a user is associated with a customer, as user profile can be created and linked to the user from within the customer dashboard. To achieve this, the block 'User details' needs to be added to the customer dashboard. To then link a user to a user profile, you can click on the button ‘add profile’ and then select the desired profile.

A user profile can be used to automatically calculate a discount or an additional charge for that customer. You can also link products to a user profile. If the customer is logged in, only those products are displayed.
