Configuration - Configuration - Custom Tables

Step 1: Go to custom tables

Enter configuration mode and click on Custom Tables under the Configuration section.

Step 2: Add a new table

Click on Add new type and enter the table type. Then click Save to proceed to the field definitions.

Step 3: Create fields

You can create two fields: one for the ID and one for the values.

First field (ID):

  • Field: id
  • Translation: no
  • Type: INT
  • Length: 9
  • Key: yes
  • Multiple: leave empty
  • Description: leave empty

Second field (value):

  • Field: Name of the field (e.g., status, category, etc.)
  • Translation: yes if you use i-Reserve in multiple languages, otherwise no
  • Type: TEXT (short text), INT (numbers), LONG (long text), or DATETIME (date/time)
  • Length: number of characters
  • Key: yes if referring to other records
  • Multiple: yes for a multi-select field

Click Back when you're done.

Step 4: Fill in records

Click the green plus icon to add records. Enter the values to choose from:

  1. Click on Add new row.
  2. An automatic number will be generated. Press Save.
  3. Enter this same number in the id field.
  4. Then enter the desired value in the output field.

Note: each value requires a separate row.
