Search activity
With this search page, an event search page can be added to the front dialog. This can either be an overview of all activities (belonging to a certain product) or a dynamic search form with results that instantly let customers book an event.
Add new search page
To add a new search page, choose 'Add new Config'. A new row appears in the table. Click on the edit icon to give the search page a name and click next to the row to save it. The possibilities below will appear in the row, setup the search page by changing the values in these columns.

Name | Meaning |
---|---|
ID | The ID number of the search page |
Description | This is an internal description of the search page so that an easy difference can be made when using multiple search pages. |
Owner | The owner is normally the user that creates the page, when using multi-licensed environments this might vary. |
Show search form | This setting shows the block with search criteria above the search results. This allows customers to search in predefined search fields themselves (e.g. on date of event). |
Search fields | The search results will be based on these criteria. When selected they will also be visible for the customer whilst the setting 'show search form' is set yo 'yes'. |
Result columns | Here the columns can be set which will be visible in the search results. Make sure to add the column 'book event' in order for customers to be able to book an event from the search results. |
Hide search results during booking | When choosing for a step-by-step booking flow this option hides the search rsults when clicking on the booking link. This will bring the customer to the next screen instead of showing the screen next to the search results. |
Filter string | A filter string is based on an advanced query that can be made using the advanced search on a filter page in I-Reserve. This allows the possibility to show results based on advances parameters (e.g. all events in status 25) |

Example
Organization 'X' is a gym. Organization 'X' provides its customers with spinning, body pump and yoga classes. These classes are planned in a grid for the coming year. The customer page 'Lesson search' offers website visitors the ability search. For example, all yoga classes to view the upcoming month. This allows the customer to quickly and easily make a selection and reservation.
