Integrating i-Reserve: subdomain of i-Reserve.net
The fastest way to start using the i-Reserve reservation system is with a subdomain. This option is the standard choice that the majority of our customers prefer. You only need to add a button on your own website with “reserve” or “book now.” Through this button, customers are directed to the i-Reserve subdomain that has been specifically set up for your business. So how does this work exactly?
On your own website, you can display all the information and details about the products and/or services customers can reserve. These could be boats, conference rooms, courses, or even guided tours. Next, you place a “reserve” or “book now” button with a link to the i-Reserve subdomain: {companyname}.i-reserve.net. Here, customers can directly view and reserve your products and/or services. If you are also using the “online payment” module in i-Reserve, they can immediately pay for their reservation as well. Of course, on the subdomain you can also add links that take the customer back to your own website. From your website, you can also use so-called deep links that point directly to the calendar of a specific room, boat, or course. If you ensure that all links between the two websites work properly, your visitors won’t even notice that there is another domain in between.
What’s more, this subdomain can adopt the styling of your website, so customers won’t notice they are on a different site. You can easily add your logo and brand colors. Want to go beyond the standard look and feel? Advanced styling is also possible. If you have knowledge of CSS and stylesheets, you can handle this yourself. Most customers, however, let us take care of that request. After consulting with you, we’ll get started.
You can use this option with any CMS system. So whether you need a reservation system for WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, or any other CMS, this option always works. Curious how this looks in practice?
