What are discount rules?
Discount rules are discounts that can be applied to various products. Discount rules can be found and created via Configuration > Objects > Discount Rules.
They can be configured either as a fixed amount or using variables (percentages %).
Standard Discounts:
This discount can be set up by applying a reduced rate to specific timeslots, such as parts of a day in a meeting room.
Example: One timeslot costs 100 euros and two timeslots cost 150 euros. In this case, the discount of 50 euros can be entered as a standard discount.
Last-minute Discount:
This discount is set within a specific period (from date to date).
Example: You are planning a vacation and a last-minute discount is available if booked two weeks in advance.
Group/Per Person Discount:
This discount is calculated based on a minimum and maximum number of people.
Example: You are going canoeing with a group of 10 people. You can set the discount, for example, to 5 euros per person.
To apply the discount rule to a product, you must link the rule in the product’s calendar (Menu Objects > Manage Products > Schedule).
