What are groups in i-Reserve?

With groups you have the option in i-Reserve to divide objects into groups. You can create a group yourself and assign one or more objects to it. The underlying intention is that you can include an overview page per group in the customer dialogue, on which only the products belonging to that group appear.

Because the possibilities when using groups are a lot more limited than using the newer functionality object fields (custom fields), we do not recommend using groups. Instead, use the possibilities of object fields, whether or not in combination with a custom table.
