New styling: What changed?
In 2026, a new styling for the i-Reserve admin panel will be introduced. In addition to a fresh new look, this update enables pages to load faster. To take full advantage of these improvements, it is essential to be able to find your way around the new interface. This manual describes the major changes to help you locate key pages in this updated styling.
Initially, it will be possible to choose between the old and the new styling of the environment. By clicking on the profile button in the top right corner and then on the Change layout button, the new styling can be toggled on or off, depending on which style is currently active.
If this button has no effect, the current styling may be stored in your cache. Use the shortcut CTRL + SHIFT + R (or CMD + SHIFT + R on Mac) to reload the page without using the cache.
The most significant change is the location of the environment configuration. Previously, the environment was switched to configuration mode by clicking Configuration under your username. Configuration mode has now been removed. Instead, you can navigate to the configuration pages by clicking the gear icon in the bottom left corner. This will take you to a page where all the familiar menu options are listed at the top. Once you select an option, the sub-menu items you are used to will appear below.
Where there used to be a menu bar at the top of the environment, it has now been changed into a sidebar containing the menu options. The configuration menu options are no longer located in a menu at all, but can be found on the page that is displayed when you click the configuration button.
In the new styling, the "Current filter" option has been merged with the Search option. On this page, you can search for reservations by filtering. Existing filters can also be loaded by clicking on Show Filter List under the three dots in the top right corner.
