How do I create a gift certificate?

Once a gift card type has been configured, a gift card can be created. In the screen 'New gift' you can find different settings.

Number

Several gift card can be made at the same time. This means that a number of unique codes have been created. A gift card can also be re-used (ReUsable = YES). It is possible to enter a amount or a percentage.
It is advisable to first make a voucher and test it before a whole batch is made made.

Customer coupling

Once the gift has been made, it can then be coupled to a customer. When a gift is coupled, the gift can be easily delivered to the customer via the dashboard of the kadobon. For this purpose, a template must be available for both email and PDF. Another advantage of combining the gift is that it is possible to create an overview of the dashboard of a customer with an overview of the (used gift).

Valid duration of the gift card

The valid from and the valid till is applicable to the date of entry. Not on the date on which the reservation is made.
Example: a voucher is valid from 1 February to 28 February.
A reservation is now made on February, 10th for 20 February with this voucher. The voucher is then valid because it is valid between 1 and 28 February.
A reservation will now be made on February, 10th for March, 20th with this voucher. The bonus is then valid because it is valid between 1 and 28 February.
A reservation will now be made on January, 10th reservation made for March 20th with this voucher. The voucher is then not valid because this period is between 1 and 28 February.

In short: date of the reservation is not important here, the duration of the payment is the moment of confusion.
