How do I setup a punchcard?

Before punch cards can be created, a punch card type must be configured. By clicking the Add punch card type button, a dialog window will open where the name of the punch card type can be added and saved.

This will add a new entry in the punch card types overview. Click the Edit icon at the end of the row. Most settings are self-explanatory. Below are a few highlighted settings.

Product

With the Product dropdown, you can choose to apply the punch card to a specific product. If no selection is made, the punch card applies to all products.

Price

This sets the price of the punch card type. This price can differ from the value represented by the number of reservations included in the punch card.

Calculation

You can choose to work with a monetary balance or a balance expressed in number of reservations. If you select the option Per balance, you need to enter the starting balance in euros in the On balance field. i-Reserve will then deduct the monetary value of the reservations.

If you choose the Per reservation option, the starting balance represents the number of reservations that can be made with the punch card. In both cases, any additional paid options like tennis rackets and towels are excluded.

Active

For punch card types, you have the option to make them active or inactive. To start selling the punch cards, first set this option to Yes. When the punch card type is no longer being sold, set it to inactive. Punch cards already purchased under this type can still be used even if the type has been set to inactive.
