Setting up Pay.
Follow these steps to configure Pay.
1. Create an account
To enable payments via Pay. in i-Reserve, you first need to create a Pay. account via the link: https://signup.pay.nl/welcome?id=M-3985-6142.
2. Obtain an API key
To process online payments with Pay.nl, you need an API key. Log in to your Pay.nl dashboard, go to 'Settings', and click on 'API tokens'. Here you will find the Live and Test API keys.
- Test API key: Use this key to test payments.
- Live API key: Use this key for actual payments.
Configure i-Reserve
Add a new payment method
Via 'Configuration - Modules - Reservation Payment Methods', you can set up a new payment method. Fill in the following fields:
- Method: paynl
- Type: by customer
- Description: Provide a description, for example, 'online payment via Pay.'
- Processing type: Select 'Test mode' for tests or 'Full processing' for live payments.
Enter API keys
- Test API key: Copy the Test API key from your Pay. account and paste it into i-Reserve when working in test mode.
- Live API key: Copy the Live API key from your Pay. account and use it for full processing.
Test payments
Through the link [company name].i-reserve.net/&mod=payments, you can directly access the payment page of i-Reserve to perform a test payment. For example, enter the reservation number of a test reservation to verify if the integration works correctly.
