Configuration - Objects - Admin Products

Use Configuration to navigate to settings and click on Products - Manage Products. Select a product by clicking on the Product ID. At the top of the page, click on Views and on Product - Extra. The 'Question & Answer' block will appear. When the mouse pointer is placed on the question, two icons appear. Clicking on the first icon will open the 'Amend Question' screen. The information can be amended here. To delete a question, click on the red cross icon. To add a new question, place the mouse pointer on the darg grey row of the 'Question & Answer' block and click on the red plus sign icon.

Among others, the following fields will appear when amending or adding a question:

  • Product - naam van het product waarvoor de vraag wordt bijgewerkt.
  • Description question - description of the question, visible only in the admin panel.
  • Question - description of the question as it should appear on the customer page.
  • Type of question - here you see the chosen form field. The type details vary according to the type chosen.
  • Priority/Order - should there be multiple questions defined for a product, it is possible to determine the order in which they appear.
  • Compulsory question - inform the customer whether or not he/she is required to answer the question.

While adding a new question, it is possible to select: Text, Text box, Dropdown, Checklist and Radio list:

  • Text - for a text field. Enter length of field and maximum number of characters. For example, a field length might be 30, and it might contain 100 characters.
  • Text box - the size of the text box is defined by the number of rows (height) and the number of columns (width).
  • Dropdown - for a dropdown list of choices. The value in the ‘Option value 1’ field is stored in the underlying database. In the ‘Option view 1’ field, the text is entered that appears in the dropdown that the customer sees.
  • Checklist - for a list with boxes to tick. The customer can tick one or more boxes.
  • Radio list - for a list from the which the customer can select only one option.

Select Add Options to add an extra row for the Dropdown, Checklist and Radio List types.
