exivo is the cloud-based access control system for your access needs. It’s simple to use, and because it works online, there’s no need for additional software onsite. And don’t worry: even if the internet is down, your users will still have access.

Setup integration - in dormakaba

To start: an environment in dormakaba is needed with a correct setup of keys, zones and components.
In dormakaba you can now create an API connection.

Save the location id, the API key and the API secret and store these in a safe location. The secret key cannot be retrieved later, so it is needed to save this one correctly.

Setup integration - in i-Reserve

Go to Configuration -> Modules -> Maintain Integrations. A list with integrations can be found here.

Add a new integration and choose for dormakaba. Enter the location id, API key and API secret.

The rest of the configuration is functional. Trigger status is fundamental, as this causes the integration to kick off.
Fields to store the PIN and the visitor ID are needed to communicate these to clients (via email templates).

After basic configuration, one more step is needed: setup mappings. Mappings will connect the objects in i-Reserve to components in dormakaba.
Without a mapping, a booking on a (unmapped) object will not trigger the visitor registration.
