Your X-Cube linked to i-Reserve
A fully automated workflow is possible between i-Reserve and X-Cube. From the moment of visiting the website up to and including playing the X-Cube, a reservation can be made without the intervention of an employee.

You can set yourself in your i-Reserve environment when your customer gets access to your X-Cube. For example, you can ensure that a reservation must be paid first. You can set this specific status yourself. Extra advantage: with i-Reserve you can also pay online immediately when making a reservation. You, as the provider of your X-Cube, determine in the background what the options are for your customers. i-Reserve charges the same rate as always. You pay monthly for a license and not per booking.

The moment a reservation reaches the set status, X-Cube receives a signal.
X-Cube creates a PIN code and sends it to the customer. (You can have various automatic emails sent to customers via i-Reserve, including a confirmation email or reminder email.)
The customer stands in front of your X-Cube and enters the PIN code. This code opens the door. The customer's name appears neatly on the screens inside and the game can begin.
What if the customer cancels or changes the reservation? Then this reservation is immediately canceled or changed at X-Cube.

Setup integration - in X-Cube

From X-Corp you get the following data:

  • Location ID
  • API url
  • identifier
  • password
  • Experience ID
  • Cube ID (to be used in mapping)

Setup integration - in i-Reserve

Go to Configuration -> Modules -> Manage Integrations. A list of integrations can be found here.

Set up a new integration and choose X-Cube. Enter the information you receive from X-Corp here.
The rest are functional settings. The trigger status is necessary for this. Select a status here after which the visitor can be logged in.
Usually this will be a status where, for example, payment has been made or if the reservation has been accepted by the administrator.

After configuration it is still necessary to specify mappings. The mapping links the objects in i-Reserve to the cube ID.
Without this mapping no reservation will be made!
