How do I use structured data for search engines within i-Reserve?
Structured data or 'markup' are pieces of code or 'tags' that you add to the content on your web pages. These code snippets follow a specific structure that is readable by Google’s machines. This helps search engines better understand your content and, as a result, improves the visibility of your page.
Using structured data results in enhanced search results, also known as ‘rich snippets’. The main benefit is that it improves click-through rates in Google! It enriches the search results with extra information such as a map, reviews, distance, opening hours, etc.
For example, on detail pages within the i-Reserve customer interface, it can be useful to include structured data.

You no longer need to be a web developer to apply markup to structured data. With Google’s Structured Data Markup Helper, it's easier to apply the markup yourself.
Test the markup in the Structured Data Testing Tool. This tool provides insight into the markup data that is being applied correctly, even if there are errors or warnings.
