Description
Gives access to the tool status_override_set_apply (operation status_override.set). This is the apply half: the tool carries the change out. The plan, which first shows what will change, has a right of its own: tool_config_status_override_set_plan. There is no undo: in a series of changes, whatever already succeeded stays in place even if a later step fails.
This tool has level 2: it is not run on a production environment. The change reaches real customers or money at the next processing run.
The tool right is necessary but never sufficient. At the same time you need the master right tool_config_use, this tool right and the ordinary right entity_object_update — someone who may not perform the act in the screens may not perform it through AI either.
In addition both configuration locks must be open: the one of the environment and the one of the licence holder.
Without a logged-in user everything is refused, reading included.
What all tools do is described on MCP configuration tools.
