Grey box with your username - Profile - Notifications

In i-Reserve, you have the option to receive notifications about various events within the system. These can be delivered via e-mail or as browser pop-ups. The e-mail notifications will be delivered to the e-mail adress that is selected in your account. They also appear in the notification center of the i-Reserve environment, which can be accessed by clicking the bell icon in the top-right corner of the admin panel. These notifications will only appear if the email notification option has been enabled for the corresponding event.

To configure this, click on your username in the grey box at the top-right of the admin panel. Then click on Profile, and next on Setup next to Notifications. Here, you can select which events you want to receive notifications for and what type of notification it should be. If you choose browser notifications, you first need to click Request permission. Then, accept the browser pop-up. You can test if this works by clicking the Test button. Finally, click Save. Be aware that you set up notifications for your account only by following these steps.


Possible Issues

I’m not receiving all or any notifications in the notification center

Check whether you’ve enabled the Email option for the relevant events. Notifications will only appear in the notification center if an email is being sent for that event.

I’m not receiving browser notifications

Check if you’ve granted permission using the Request permission button. A green bar should appear that says Permission granted.

I’m not getting notifications for undelivered emails

First check if the notifications are set up as described in this manual. After doing this, make a test reservation with an e-mail address that does not exist. If you do not receive a notification of this, it is possible that the webhooks have not been correctly set up for your environment. Check the undelivered email to see if there is an error message at the top right. The e-mail can usually be found at the bottom of the relevant reservation page (or invoice page or other relevant page). If there is an error message shown in the top-right corner of the e-mail overview, then the notification system for undelivered emails is working correctly. If not, there may be an issue with the webhooks. Please contact our support team for assistance with this.
