How do I make a booking for multiple weeks?
Reservations made on a time basis can be repeated for multiple weeks.
These are called "recurring reservations".
Tennis use case example
A tennis club offers a winter contract. In that contract, a buyer receives a permanent job for the entire season.
This season runs from September 1 for six months. For example, the customer is assigned job 3 every Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. for 26 weeks.
This contract is actually 24 weeks, as the association has set the Christmas holidays as a holiday.
Example regular bridge club
A community center has a number of spaces to rent out. In addition to individual rental, it is also rented to a bridge club.
The bridge club has a fixed space for an entire calendar year. Every Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m.
A reservation is made for 52 weeks, with detailed reservations. Since renovations are taking place in March, reservations for that month will be linked to a replacement room. In addition, the time of reservations in December will be adjusted to 18-20.
Who determines the number of recurring reservations?
The admin can set whether the customer or the manager is the one who can determine the number of recurring reservations.
We will then see an extra select box appear when making the reservation: "Select number of weeks".
Selecting this creates a reservation for a number of weeks.
What can the reservation agent do?
Situation 1: In a number of cases, only the reservations employee may adjust the number of weeks. In these cases, the reservation employee will adjust the number on the reservation dashboard.
Situation 2: creating detailed reservations.
This can either happen automatically (see automatic setting) or it can be done via the "Create recurring reservations" button. This button can be seen on the reservation dashboard in the action block.
