How can I change the date or time of a booking?
There are a number of options to change the date and time of a booking:
Via the dashboard of the booking
- Open the booking that you would like to change.
- Click in the data field relating to 'Datefrom'. A calendar appears, in which you can select a different date.
- The same process applies to the fields 'Timefrom' and 'Timetill'.
- The system checks whether the change is possible. If this is not possible, due to lack of availability, the message ‘Conflicting bookings’ appears with details of any existing booking already made for that date/time. Depending on the rights you have as administrator you may be able to click on the button ‘overide conflict’ and still save the changes. In most cases this is not desirable, since a double booking will be made.
Via the booking roster
- Find the booking in the roster.
- Click at the very top of the booking and drag it to another date and/or time.
- Another possibility is to click once on the booking block. Then click on the pencil icon and change the date and/or time in the detail window that appears.
Via the event
- A booking made for an event can be moved from within the event dashboard.
- Open the event and click on the ‘Move bookings’ link in the action block.
- Tick one or more bookings that you would like to move and then click on ‘Next’.
- Search for the event where you want the booking moved to and click on ‘Move'.
