Booking - Roster or Booking - Create dummy booking
How do I create a dummy booking?
A dummy booking allows the administrator to manually update availability. A dummy booking blocks a time slot so that no bookings can be made during that period. The booking receives the status '99-DUMMY' and is not linked to a customer.
A dummy booking can be created via the schedule or the menu.
Create a dummy reservation via the menu
- Go to Booking > Create dummy booking. If this option is not visible, you may not have the entity_booking_createdummy permission. Ask the administrator to assign this right to you.
- Select the product for which the dummy booking should be created
- Enter the date, time and other information
- Save the dummy booking
Create a dummy reservation via the schedule
- Go to Booking > Roster
- Click and drag on the schedule at the time and for the product where the dummy booking should be made
- At the bottom, click Dummy booking. If this option is not visible, you may not have the roster_action_dummybooking permission. Ask the administrator to assign this right to you.
- The dummy booking is now saved in the schedule
If the number of participants is leading for the booking, then it is not necessary to specify participants when creating a dummy booking. The participants will be deducted immediately.
