How do I enable two-factor authentication?

It is possible for users of the I-reserve system to enable 2FA with an authenticator, but the user must first be logged in:

The 'User Settings' menu can be accessed by clicking on the button with the logged-in profile and avatar in the menu and then clicking on 'Profile'.

In the 'Two-Factor Authentication' section, there is a button labeled 'Set Up'. When clicked, a new pop-up with a QR code will appear. This QR code can be scanned and saved using an authenticator app.

Once the QR code is saved in an authenticator app, the app will continuously generate codes with a limited validity period. To enable two-factor authentication, you need to enter the currently generated code into the verification field and then click on the 'Save' button.

Now, two-factor authentication is set up and activated for the logged-in profile. When the profile logs out and logs back in, the system will ask for the current code from the authenticator and will also provide the option to remember the user.
