What status code can I set the best as 'Start status' for an event?
When choosing the Start Status, always ask yourself the question: "What should happen when a new activity is created?" Should new activities be immediately visible to customers? Should reservations be possible right away and if so, also for customers? In short: the choice of start status always depends on the desired workflow.
Example
By default, the system status New (10) is set as the Start Status. This means that a newly created activity is not yet visible to the customer and that reservations for the activity cannot (yet) be made. To make the activity visible and allow reservations, the status must first be manually changed to Open (20) in the admin panel.
If you want to skip this step, you can set the status Open (20) as the Start Status. When a new activity is created, it will immediately be visible to the customer and open for reservations.
Always set only one status as Start status
