Configuratie - Klant Pagina - Content Pagina's - Redirects

When a visitor arrives through a link that no longer leads anywhere, i-Reserve keeps track of it. That shows you which old links are still in use and from which website or page visitors come. From there, you turn an old link into a redirect with one click.

Viewing the list

  1. Go to Configuration > Customer page > Content pages > Redirects and open the Not found tab. The number on the tab is the number of links that are still open.
  2. For each link you see:
    • Requested link: the page address, or the parameters of the link (for example mod=calendar&product=5);
    • Reason: for example Page address does not exist, Product is not active or Content page does not exist;
    • Hits and Last hit: how often and when it last happened;
    • Last came from: the page the last visitor came from. If this is your own website, it still has an outdated link there that you can update.

What do you do with it?

  • Make redirect: the form opens with the old link already filled in. You only fill in where the visitor should go. The link then gets the status Redirected. How the form works is explained in How do I redirect an old link to a new page?
  • Ignore: for links that do not come from you, such as a typo or a search robot. The link stays in the list but no longer counts as open. The arrow opens it again.
  • Delete: removes the link from the list. If it is requested again, it comes back.

If a link that was already redirected is not found again, for example because the redirect was deleted, it goes back to open by itself.

Known attempts by robots to find weaknesses (such as wp-login.php) are not added to the list. Want to show visitors your own page for an address that does not exist? See How do I create my own error page?
