Filter - Export

To create an export file for a specific accounting system, it must first be activated/set up via the configuration.

Go to the module settings: Configuration > Modules > Export Types. The steps are as follows:

  • Set up new type
  • Activate
  • Enter allowed context
  • Enter parameters
  • Enter mapping

Set up new type

In the configuration screen under 'Export Types' in the 'Modules' tab, choose '+Add new export type' to create a new export type.

Now you can select the desired export type under 'Select'. After choosing a file type, a confirmation message will appear upon saving.

Activate

Then check whether the type should be active immediately and set this to yes if desired.

Enter allowed context

The next step is to set the allowed contexts. In most cases, you will want to choose customer (customers/debtors) and invoice (invoices).

Enter parameters

Each export type may have one or more parameters. Check the manual for specific types, as each type may include different parameters.

Enter mapping

Each export type may have one or more mappings. A mapping ensures that a certain value in i-Reserve is converted to a different value. This is often necessary because system codes can vary per system. For example, a VAT code in i-Reserve (such as code 2) can be converted to a code in the accounting system (such as code 9). Check the manual for specific types, as each type may include different mappings.
