Instruction
This section only applies if the module Invoice is active.

E-invoicing is used in i-Reserve by using UBL.
Background information about UBL can be found here: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Business_Language

With an e-invoice, a file must be created that contains information about the seller, the customer and the details of the invoice.
The buyer is the "customer" in the reservation system, the seller is the supplier of the service.

Set up seller

To get started, information about the seller must first be set.
This is done by creating (or editing) a franchise. It is that establishment that is considered a seller.
Where to find it: Configuration > Objects > Manage franchises.
If no location information has been specified yet, create a new one. Otherwise, please check the detail data.
Relevant characteristics: Name, address, VAT number.

Set up payment methods

Optional to set, but common. Set 1 or more payment methods.
Usually methods like "pay within 14 days" are common.
Where to find it: Configuration > Modules > Customer payment method/payment methods.

Set customer

With customers there are some relevant characteristics.
A block can be made visible on the customer dashboard "Financial customer".
This block can be used

1. Payment method
2. Invoice shipping method (email or post)

The shipping method can be checked: on the dashboard of an invoice that is linked to a customer with a shipping method by e-mail, it can be seen (in the main block of the invoice) that the invoice will be sent to that e-mail address of the customer.

Set up e-invoicing

Now that the above has been arranged, e-invoicing can be switched on.
Go to Settings. Set UBL to active and select the location.

From now on, a UBL xml file will be created and included when finalizing an invoice.
