Setup Cardgate

To ensure that the paid reservations are processed directly into i-Reserve, feedback from Cardgate needs to take place.
A connection have to be set in i-Reserve for the purpose of Cardgate and vice versa.

Cardgate

On the website of Cardgate (https://merchants.cardgateplus.com) can be logged with the credentials issued by Cardgate. Under the menu item "Administration" - "sites" the section 'websites' can be found from which payments can be made via Cardgate. When the i-Reserve area is registered correctly it will be shown here.

Site id
The siteid on this page is required in i-Reserve and services as a unique ID for the connection.

Encryption key
The encryption on this page is required in i-Reserve and serves as a kind of password.

Callback URL
The link below can be entered for the "Callback URL", replacing {I-RESERVE-URL} by the location of your personal i-Reserve environment.

Success URL (optional)
After a successful payment an automatical redirect to a specific URL can take place. This could be a content page within i-Reserve. By default it is sent back to a success page within i-Reserve.

Failure URL (optional)
After a payment has gone wrong, an automatical redirect to a specific URL can take place. This could be a content page within i-Reserve. By default it is sent back to a failure page within i-Reserve.

Testen
When Cardgate in test mode is used (set in i-Reserve), the links are used under 'test callback URL', 'test success url' and' test url failure'. These are usually the same but may be different depending on the test.

Cardgate settings are found in i-Reserve in the Control Panel under 'modules' -' payment - bookings'.

Cardgate siteid
This is the siteid as it is mentioned on the card gate settings page.

Cardgate modus
This can be switched between the test mode or complete processing. When set to test mode, it is possible to set what feedback to i-Reserve should be given (for instance success or failure). This is possible during the payment process, wherein the different scenarios can thus be well tested without the need for actual payments have to be realized.
