Setup Mollie
Request a Mollie account via the link: https://my.mollie.com/dashboard/signup/3609184?lang=nl
To be able to make online payments of reservations with Mollie you need an API-key. You can find the key in your Mollie account by clicking on ‘Settings’ and navigating to the tab 'Websiteprofiles'. Click on 'Live and Test API-keys'.
Would you like to test the payments first? Then use the test API-key. For real payments, use the live API-key.
i-Reserve
A new payment method can be added via 'Configuration - Modules - Payment bookings'. Fill at least the following fields in:
Method: Mollie
Type: Executed by customer
Description: Provide this yourself, for example: 'pay online'
Type of processing: choose between 'Testmode' or 'Complete processing'
In the testmode only the Test API-key is entered in i-Reserve. If complete processing has been selected, the just enter the Live API-key.
Live API key: take the Live API-key from the Mollie environment
Test API key: take the Test API-key from the Mollie environment
Via the direct link [companyname].i-reserve.net/&mod=payments payments can be requested directly from the i-Reserve payment page to test a payment by entering, for example, the booking number of a test reservation.
Which payment methods does the guest see?
i-Reserve does not send a list of payment methods to Mollie. Which methods the guest sees on the payment page is decided by Mollie, based on the methods enabled in your Mollie dashboard and the currency of the reservation. So you enable a new method — card, Bancontact, TWINT — at Mollie, not in i-Reserve.
Mind the currency: i-Reserve passes the amount in the currency of the reservation. A method that does not support that currency will not appear on the payment page, even when it is enabled at Mollie.
