Sharing a roster with users

A new roster is only visible to its creator by default, in the Manage roster list itself. To make the roster appear in other users' roster selection list as well, you need to share it explicitly.

Sharing

1. In Manage roster, click Not shared (or Shared, if already shared) next to the desired roster to open the Shared with dialog.
2. Under Already shared with you see who the roster is currently shared with.
3. Under Share, choose an option — for example Everyone or a specific user (group) — and click the green plus icon to add it.
4. Click Save.

Remove an existing share with the red trash icon behind that row.

Who may configure this?

The Manage roster screen — and therefore sharing as well — is only accessible with the right roster_manage_roster. Whether the roster menu item itself is visible to a user it is shared with also depends on menu_booking_roster (Booking tab) and/or menu_event_roster (Activity tab): without that right the user will not see the roster, even if it is shared with them.
