User groups contain a combination of users and rights. By setting up user groups it is possible to assign certain functionalities in i-Reserve to specific users. By default, several user groups have already been created. It is also possible to add new groups or modify the existing groups.

Properly setting up user groups makes it easy(ier) to give new and existing users the correct rights. A user can be included in multiple user groups. For example, it is possible to create a group called ‘employees’, configured with the basic rights for all employees. In addition, one could also create a group for ‘employees-plus’ or ‘managers’, for example, where extra rights are assigned to specific employees so that they might have greater rights/access to change and/or delete content from the system.

The following right may be necessary in order to use this functionality.
