Description
This right lets a user use the Copy parts button on a product’s detail screen to copy individual parts of the current product into one or more existing products. No new product is created and the product itself is not duplicated — only the selected parts.
For each part the user chooses whether it is included and with which strategy: replace, add, update (or skip). Selectable parts: resources, options, periods, participants, opening hours, prices, calendar, questions, attributes, e-mails, automatic e-mails, automatic actions, documents and settings.
Without this right the Copy parts button is hidden. To duplicate an entire product, see action_object_copy.
⚠️ Note — best disabled in production. This right can overwrite parts of multiple existing, live products in a single action (the replace strategy). This is hard to undo and, for a user who sees multiple parks/licenses, applies across all those products at once. In production, grant this right only to those who demonstrably need it, preferably temporarily.
