Customer - Dashboard

It is possible to manually add a customer in the admin panel. Depending on which rights have been assigned, there are two ways of arriving at the 'New Customer' page. It is also possible while creating or amending a booking, to create a new customer and add them to the booking.

The 'New Customer' page can be reached via the menu 'Customer – Create customer' or by using the '+ Add new customer' button in a customer filter. This page displays one block containing the fields relevant to the business process.

The 'New customer' block shows the (mandatory) fields the customer is required to complete. These fields can be configured through the Customer Form which can be accessed via ‘Configuration – Forms – Customer forms’. Here you can indicate which fields shouuld be visible / not visible / optional / mandatory.

If the 'Save'; button is clicked before the 'required' fields are completed, a message will appear asking that the required fields be completed. The customer information will not be saved at that time. Only once all the fields have been completed correctly, and the 'Save' button has been clicked, will a message will appear confirming that the customer information has been saved.

Importing customers

It is also possible to enter a large number of new customers in i-Reserve at one time by importing an Excel or CSV file. You can find the import functionality via ‘Configuration – System – Import’. Click on 'Import customers' and then follow the wizard or the userguide.
