Dashboard
What is a dashboard
A dashboard has been created for each main component in i-Reserve. This way you have a dashboard for Customers, Bookings, Activities, Invoices, Punchcards, Giftcards and Subscriptions. On the standard system dashboards, the information is displayed in blocks.
General dashboard
The general dashboard is not linked to a main component. This dashboard type is mainly used to display general blocks of data/information such as statistics and filter blocks.
General dashboard example
In this context a dashboard could contain:
- A block with a filter that displays all bookings with the status NEW
- A block with a filter that displays all bookings for the coming week
- A block with statistics the number of bookings per day for the past week
Customer dashboard example
A dashboard in the context of Customer could contain:
- A block displaying the customers personal information
- An action block with authorised actions (create invoice, send e-mail, create booking, delete, etc.)
- A block with the customers user details
- A filter block showing the customers bookings
A dashboard can also display the tabs Comments, History, Emails and Todos.
Tabs at the bottom of the dashboard
Most dashboards show three tabs at the bottom of the page:
- History — shows who performed which action and when; the most recent change is at the top. If several administrators work in the admin panel, create a personal username for each of them — that keeps it clear who made which change.
- Remarks — add a text note via Add remark; a remark can be shared so other administrators see it too.
- Emails — an overview of the emails sent to the customer from i-Reserve, most recent first. Hover over the subject line for a preview of the text; a single click opens the email, including any attachments.
