What is an order?

The order module is an extension of i-Reserve that makes it possible to create detailed quotations. It is already possible to create a PDF template from a reservation, but a fully customized quotation cannot result from it. This is because a reservation consists of predefined properties that are set on the object.

You can turn a reservation into an order, or you can create a new order. You can then add blocks of information to the order that you want to include in the proposal. Once the order is ready, choose the desired output (template). This could be, for example, a quotation, contract, authorization, or agreement. You can generate a preview or create the document directly. Using ‘generate and save’ will convert the order into the selected PDF template. Multiple PDF documents can be created from a single order. The documents can also be emailed directly to the customer from i-Reserve.

When the customer agrees, you can easily create an invoice from the order. This means there is no need for duplicate data entry.
