How do I update resources?

If something is changed in a resource, it is important that the already existing reservations are 'updated' because the availability has to be recalculated based on the current resource settings and the booked quantities in already existing reservations. You can easily and quickly update this for all reservations already made via the bulk action 'Update resources', you can also update the resource per reservation via the action link 'Show resources'.

Bulk Action 'Update Resources'

Follow the steps below to check the resources for multiple reservations at once and update them if necessary:

1. Menu Reservation > Search
2. Filter on the products for which the associated resources have been modified
3. Click the 'Views' button > Bulk change'
4. In the next screen, select the reservations to be checked (max. 100 at a time!)
5. Click the 'Next' button
6. Select the action 'Update resources for reservation', next and execute
7. The screen 'Search/Filter result: Batch' will appear, here you will see the bulk action you have just set up (status New)
8. Wait 2 to 3 minutes and refresh your screen
9. Click the Status button and select 'Done' (or select all statuses') and click the 'Search!' button
10. You will see that the bulk action has been performed and the reservations have been updated
11. Repeat steps 1 to 10 for the other reservations you want to check

Action link 'Show resources'

Follow the steps below to view the resources charged for a reservation and correct any errors:

1. Open a reservation
2. In the Action block, click on the link 'Show resources'
3. In the popup you can see which resources influence this booking and which number has been canceled for the relevant resource
4. If you see the message 'Resources are different than set up with the product', the 'Check and repair' button is also available
5. Click the 'Check and repair' button
6. The check and repair is performed, a message appears that the resources have been updated
7. Click the 'OK' button in the notification
8. Click the 'Close' button in the 'Show Resources' popup
9. Repeat steps 1 through 8 for each reservation you want to check.

Action link 'Show resources' -> determine and adjust the resources yourself

It may also happen that you want to deviate from the existing calculations and manually adjust the resources when booking.
This is only possible with the action_booking_override_resources

3. In the popup you can see which resources influence this booking and which number has been canceled for the relevant resource
4. By moving your mouse over the number, you will see that the number can be adjusted. Specify the desired number and click the save check mark.
