MplusKASSA: introduction and use cases

What is the MplusKASSA integration?

MplusKASSA is a point-of-sale (POS) system for charging products on site — from a drink or catering to the hire of a lane or room. The integration with i-Reserve is two-way: a booking flows from i-Reserve to the POS (as a table/order), and whatever is added on site (extra drinks, catering or products) comes back into the booking after completion. This creates one complete financial picture and lets you invoice from i-Reserve.

Two examples

Use case 1 — Bowling alley

1. The guest books a bowling lane online and pays a deposit.
2. On arrival the booking is ready in the POS.
3. The guest orders drinks and goes bowling.
4. At the end the drinks are paid at the POS.
5. The total receipt syncs back to i-Reserve, so the booking is financially complete.

Optional: the accounting link can run from either MplusKASSA or i-Reserve.

Use case 2 — Meeting with catering

1. The customer books a meeting room in advance.
2. On arrival the booking is ready.
3. A separate lunch is ordered on the day itself.
4. Afterwards the extras are synced back to i-Reserve.
5. The invoice comes from i-Reserve, including the catering.
