Description
With this right the user may set a booking to paid in a single click. This is done with the Set booking to paid button in the action block of the booking, Set to paid / Register payment in the simple view and Pay in the menu of a booking card in the roster.
The action registers one payment for the full outstanding amount, dated today, using the default payment method and payment status from the settings. The button only appears while an amount is still outstanding. Without this right the button is hidden, and the action is refused when it is called in any other way.
Entering a payment with its own amount, date or payment method through the payments block is not covered by this right.
Related
This right was added in IRES-14410. Before that, read access to the booking was enough. On upgrade every group holding entity_booking_update, action_booking_change_status / action_booking_statuschange receives this right automatically, so nobody who edits bookings loses the button. To restrict setting bookings to paid, remove the right from the relevant groups after the upgrade.
