Create a reservation
Column grid
A booking can be made on a column grid by clicking and dragging vertically (from left to right) .
The time the drag began becomes the starting time of the booking, and the point where the drag ends will become the finishing time.
When the mouse is released, a new pop-up will open (see paragraph on dialog).
Timeline grid
A booking can be made on a timeline grid by clicking and dragging horizontally (from above to below).
Click on the day you want the booking to start, and drag the mouse to the right, until the desired end date of the booking is reached.
When the mouse is released, a new pop-up will open (see paragraph on dialog).

When the mouse is released after a drag action, a new window will appear, containing the following fields and buttons.
Fields used
Remarks (Text field)
Enter any remarks regarding the booking here.
Resource* (Selection field)
Select here the product-resource to be booked. (In the case of a Resource grid)
Product (Selection field)
Select here the product to be booked. (In the case of an Object grid)
Time period* (Date and selection fields)
Select here the 'from' and 'till' date and time for the booking
Add to shopping cart (Check box)
Tick this box to add the booking to a shopping cart (combination of bookings).
Take note: this option is not available in all environments: it depends on the business model chosen during the implementation of the environment.
Buttons used
Save*
Click on this button to save the booking, or to add to a shopping cart.
Tip: this button can be hidden in the Grid Settings (Columns or Timeline), requiring users to choose 'To advanced'.
Make a dummy booking
Click on this button to add the booking as 'Dummy'.
Dummy bookings are bookings (with status 99) to which no customer is linked. They can be used to block times. When the number of participants is leading it's not necessary to specify participants. They will be debited immediately.
