Precondition: a login-capable user must be linked to the customer - so the customer must be able to log in. In addition you need the action_customer_view_front right to see the button.

Once that is in place, as an administrator you can view the customer pages exactly as this user sees them, without their password. This lets you easily check which menu and which pages (such as My bookings) the user sees.

Steps

  1. Open the relevant customer in the admin.
  2. In the User data block, click View front as a user.
  3. The customer pages open exactly as this user sees them - including the menu and, if enabled, My bookings.

You are logged in as that user, so be careful when performing actions in this view.

No user linked yet?

If the customer has no user yet, the button cannot be used. In the User data block you can then link an existing user (right action_customer_connect_different_user) or create a new user (right action_customer_create_new_user). You can even create a temporary username just to view the customer pages.
