Managing a booking from the roster
Click a booking block in the roster (for example the column roster under Booking > Roster) to open a small icon menu to the left of the block.
Detail panel: everything at a glance
Besides the icon menu, clicking a booking block also opens the detail panel: product, customer, date/time, status, comments and any custom fields are shown directly, without having to go to the booking dashboard.
Changing the status
Confirm or cancel the booking with the buttons next to the status in the detail panel. See How do I change the status of a booking? for the other status options.
Adding comments
The Comments field in the detail panel can be edited directly and is immediately visible to anyone who opens the booking.
Adjusting custom fields
Custom fields appear as a separate block next to the detail panel and can be edited directly there.
Viewing options
Added extras (options) are shown in the “Options” block, with quantity, unit price and total price.
Checking attendees/participants
The “Participants” block shows who is taking part (name, first name, last name, role); add a participant with + or remove one with the trash icon.
Scheduling or adjusting staff
Link staff (guides/employees) via the “People” panel next to the detail panel. See Assigning staff to a booking and emailing them for the full explanation.
Sending an email
Send a manual email via the envelope button in the “People” panel (see above), or via How do I send an email manually?.
Linking a customer
Click the customer icon to open the Search customer dialog. Search by keyword(s) for an existing customer, or click New customer if the customer does not exist yet. This lets you quickly link a customer to a booking that was, for example, made over the phone without a customer attached yet.
Deleting
Click the trash icon to delete the booking directly from the roster.
See Create a reservation for how to create a new booking from the roster.
