How does pricing work in i-Reserve?
In i-Reserve you set the price of an object (product) with a few building blocks. This page explains how they fit together and which situation matches your case.
Charge a room per hour
Example: a room can be rented daily from 9:00 to 18:00 on an hourly basis for € 49.50 per hour. A customer books from 10:00 to 12:00.
Charge a room per part of day
Example: a room is rented per part of day: morning (09:00–13:00) € 120, afternoon (13:00–17:00) € 150 and evening (17:00–21:00) €...
Evening and morning prices (time-based)
Example: a meeting room is free during the day (09:00–18:00) and € 30 per hour in the evening (18:00–23:00). A customer books from 17:00 to 19:00.
High and low season (calendar prices)
Example: a party room costs € 200 per part of day in low season (Jan–May) and € 300 per part of day in high season (Jun–Aug). A customer books...
Price per participant or per object
Example: a workshop costs € 25 per person. A customer books for 4 people. (For comparison: with room hire you charge one fixed amount regardless of the number...
Multiple period and block-length prices
Example: a squash court can be booked per 30 minutes (€ 12.50) or per 60 minutes (€ 22.50). A customer chooses a 60-minute block.
Event prices (price per participant/ticket)
Example: a concert has two ticket types: adult € 35 and child € 20. A customer books 2 adults and 1 child.
Day rental: price per day or per night
Example: a bed & breakfast charges € 50 per person per night. A guest books with 2 people for a stay of 8 days (= 7 nights).
Tourist tax via an option
Example: you charge € 2.50 tourist tax per person per night. A customer books with 4 people for 3 nights.
