Configuratie - Objecten - Beheer producten

In i-Reserve you set the price of an object (product) with a few building blocks. This page explains how they fit together and which situation matches your case.

The building blocks

  • Period — the bookable time block and the base price (for example 60 minutes, or a number of days).
  • Price schema — the price per weekday, time window and participant type; this is also where you define from what time to what time charges apply.
  • Calendar — links date ranges (seasons) to a schema group.
  • Options — surcharges on top of the price, such as cleaning fees or tourist tax.

The reservation mode determines the calculation

When creating a product you choose the mode: time mode (per minute/hour, for rooms), day mode (per day/night, for rentals), day+time mode (days with arrival/return time) and event mode (price per ticket). The mode determines which calculations are available.

Which situation matches your case?

All price schema fields

A full explanation of every field in the price schema is available on How do I set a price scheme?.

VAT: how are prices stored?

By default, prices are stored including VAT. Only when the Invoice module is active and a VAT percentage is explicitly set (the VAT field in the price schema) is VAT calculated and shown separately.
